Experience
Vero is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) working toward licensure. Alongside her clinical work, she runs her own coaching practice and hosts a podcast, and she brings a strong, real presence to conversations about mental health. She also has lived experience with ADHD and has learned to manage it herself, which shapes how she supports clients navigating the same thing.
A Bit About Me
Imagine feeling more confident and a lot less hard on yourself. The overthinking and anxiety start to get easier to manage, and over time your life begins to feel aligned with who you actually want to become and the life you actually want, instead of the one everyone else expected of you. Whatever brought you here, my hope is that this becomes the space where you finally start putting yourself back on the list.
A lot of the people I work with are moms and eldest daughters, the one everyone leans on, the one who ends up managing the whole family. If that's you, you probably know anxiety and overthinking well, and you're exhausted from holding everything together on your own. Maybe you're a single mom with barely any support, and somewhere in there you stopped having time for yourself. It's normal to start wondering if the direction your life is going is really the one you want.
Working with me, I'm warm but pretty direct. I'll be honest with you about what I'm noticing, and I'm not going to just tell you what to do. If something's worth pointing out, I'll do it gently. You can bring up anything with me without worrying about being judged, love is love, and there's no version of you that's too much here. A lot of my clients tell me it's the first time they've felt like someone was really listening.
Outside the Office
Outside of sessions, I'm big on fitness and health, and honestly a lot of my best ideas show up mid-workout at the gym. I'm a coach as well as a therapist, I host a podcast, and I'm an eldest daughter myself, so a lot of what I sit with clients on isn't theoretical for me. I'm walking through my own transitions too.
